Sunday 26th March: SJFA spent some quality time with their sons with a trip to Wembley. For some of the boys this was their first trip to Wembley to watch the England v Lithuania World Cup Qualifier. The most striking, highly visible feature of the stadium is the 133 metre tall arch that sits above the north stand. The steel arch is 315 metres long and is the longest single roof structure in the world and is visible right across London (including Stanmore Hill!)
In total, 57 coaches and their sons attended the match. It was a perfect opportunity for the coaches and their sons to watch a professional game of football away from the Hive! Arranging this for the coaches was a mark of appreciation for their hard work this season and previous.
