During the 2017/2018 season SJFA are partnering with Sufra NW London.
Sufra NW London collects and distributes over 50 tonnes of non-perishable food to nearly 4,000 people in absolute crisis. These include a wide range of beneficiaries such as the mentally unwell, the disabled, carers, the unemployed, the elderly and low-income families affected by poverty. The Food Bank, which relies entirely on donations from the public, is the culmination of extensive partnerships with local charities, corporate sponsors, faith communities and youth organisations, which together ensure that no one in our community should ever go hungry.
To continue our collaboration and support this worthwhile charity the SJFA “ONE TEAM” have arranged for Sufra NW to collect Easter Eggs (you can also accompany this with an item from the shopping list) at the final training session before Easter (25 March).
The Easter Eggs and other donations will be handed out by Sufra over Easter. Sufra will be represented by Fahim Daya who will have his van on the day for all donations.
