We all gathered at 9:50 AM and started doing our normal warm up. We took to the field at 10:30 and we began with a 1 minute silence for Remembrance Day.

5 minutes into kick-off SJFA was on the attack with Mohammed Mahdi Panju going down the right wing and as he was about to cross the ball in he was knocked over on his side and he was taken off with Ali Hadi moving up to the right wing position and Ali Khatau took up the right back position.

Within 5 minutes of the positional change Chalfont scored by going around the goalkeeper (Aliabbas Suleiman).

2 minutes after the restart SJFA upped their game and Ali Hadi passed the ball to Sami Merali and he finished it through the goalkeeper’s legs.

1-1 the score was and around 5 minutes later, SJFA had another attack and Sami was in the box yet again but he got tackled and the ref called for a penalty which Sami took and scored, going straight down the middle.

Half time and SJFA was up 2-1.

At the start of the second half SJFA were relaxed and did not play with a lot of intensity. This meant there was a lot of defending for the two centre backs Mohammed Mahdi Dewji and Shaahid Alimohamed. But they could not do much to stop the 2 goals that were conceded.

At 3-2 to Chalfont there was only 15 minutes left on the clock and Ali Merali cleared it down the line to Mohammedmahdi Janmohammed and it went out for a corner.

A beautiful delivery by Mohammedmahdi Janmohammed to Sami who became a hat trick hero scoring a volley into the back of the net. That was it and at the final whistle the score was 3-3.

A decent showing by SJFA given we lost against the same time in a friendly 6-3.
