Stanmore Jafferys Football Academy

about us

Stanmore Jafferys Football Academy is a community club with our training base at Harefield Academy (Northwood Way, Harefield UB9 6ET).

We obtained FA Affiliation with the Middlesex FA in November 2016 and have teams in the following age groups:
U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16

Up until January 2016 we were running our youth football activity at Ruislip Goals on 5-aside pitches.

Towards the end of 2015 we decided to enhance our operation, with a more structured approach and with a view to engage in more external games and tournaments.

To date, we have more than 400 players on our books and with a regular attendance of around 150 players every week during our training sessions, spread across ages from 5yrs to 16yrs old. We have also changed our format to 7-aside / 9-aside / 11-aside.

At present we have over 38 volunteer coaches all of whom have FA Safeguarding, FA Emergency First Aid qualifications and CRC checked. 35 of the 38 coaches are FA Level 1 qualified. Added to the above, 9 of the 35 coaches are currently pursuing the FA Level 2 certification which they will complete by the end of March 2019.

We are also affiliated with Middlesex FA and currently hold the FA Chartered Standard Club status. We are humbled to be awarded the FA For All Award at the 2017 Asian Football Awards and Shortlisted for the Muslim Awards For Excellence in 2018.

SJFA have also embarked on a momentous step in its history and as of September 2018 we have entered three teams (Under 8’s, Under 14’s and the Under 16’s) into the Chiltern Church League. This has been a learning curve for the club as well as the both parents and players alike in-terms of commitment and exposure to the League.

Our aim is that by the next season (2019/2020) we would like to have representation across the board to have joined the leagues. This includes the Under 8’s, Under 10’s, Under 12’s, Under 14’s and the Under 16’s into the Chiltern Church League.

Where available we are available to play friendly games as often as possible and enter tournaments through out the year too.
